The Right Reverend Nicholas Holtam, Bishop of Salisbury, Lead Bishop on the Environment, will reflect on how the church is called to respond.

Wednesday 28 September – Ethical Investments: A win-win for you and the environment
Edward Mason, Head of Responsible Research, Church Commissioners, and Seb Beloe, Head of Sustainability Research, WHEB Asset Management, will explore the church’s and individuals’ responses to being environmental and getting a good financial return.

Part 1: Introduction to Eco Church – Dr Ruth Valerio, Churches and theology Director, A Rocha UK
Part 2: Winchester Cathedral: Working towards a Greener Future – Canon Annabelle Boyes, Receiver General Winchester Cathedral.

Eco Church is A Rocha UK’s new award scheme for churches in England and Wales that demonstrates how a loving God and his creation should impact on everything in our church lives. This event is an opportunity for members of the local community and the Cathedral community and across the Diocese to learn how to embrace the Eco Church scheme in their local church.
