Winchester’s Quakers are hosting a silent vigil to show solidarity with refugees on Wednesday 22nd June. The vigil will take place between 11am and 12 noon at the Buttercross in Winchester High Street.
Organisers are encouraging people to attend either for a few minutes, for the whole time or something in between. If you’d like to know more you can find their flyer here.
Winchester Churches Together have been working on several initiatives to support refugees both in this area, around the country and around the UK. You can find out more about what we’re doing through our Refugee Champion Jo Pellat and her team.
