Water is a precious resource. In the UK, we use too much and are constantly being reminded to conserve it.

No one wastes water in the remote Kenyan village where farmer, Kisilu Musya lives. In his community, life-sustaining water is under threat from climate change.

Now, with filmmaker, Julia Dahr, he has documented the effects of climate change and his journey from community leader to climate activist.

Christian Aid is screening the resulting film, ‘Thank you for the Rain’ online for free as a key element of Winchester Green Week.

Winchester Cathedral is hosting a web discussion about the film. It is to be chaired by Jo Crocker, Churches Together in Winchester’s climate justice champion and coordinator of Winchester Green Week. She will be joined by Jess Hall, who will share Christian Aid’s work in campaigning for climate justice.

The webinar will take place via Zoom on 2nd October 2020 at 7pm. To book your free ticket, please visit the Winchester Cathedral Box Office.

You can watch the film at any time before the webinar by clicking here.

Catch a glimpse of how Kenyans are facing up to climate change and find out what you can do to help.
