Winchester Basics Bank is seeking a flexible and client focused person for the position of Hub Manager. The successful candidate will help the charity provide and develop its client facing activities, be responsible for managing a team of volunteers and providing signposting advice to our clients. The Hub Manager reports to the Operations Manager.
Candidates should be comfortable working in a Christian environment, be compassionate, have good people skills and communication skills, and be competent in using IT tools (including Google Docs & Sheets, email and using a shared drive).
A full driving licence, ability to travel to each food hub, and fitness for general manual handling being able to lift weight of up to 15kg are required. An awareness of health and safety, or food hygiene/safety would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be provided.
This is a paid role at the rate of £10.51 per hour for 18.5 hours per week; Tuesday & Friday 9-4.30pm and Thursday 9-1.30pm. Additional hours may be required on occasion (by prior agreement).
