Harrow Choral Society is holding a concert in support of Link to Hope at United Church on Saturday 15 July.
Link to Hope is a Christian charity which rebuilds lives and communities in Eastern Europe through education and social care. The charity is one of United Church’s mission partners. This year, the church supports a project in Romania where Link to Hope is setting up a kindergarten.
The Harrow Choral Society is a classical, auditioned choir of about 80 singers. It performs a repertoire of established choral masterpieces alongside newly-commissioned works.
Its director, Sam Evans, performed with the Monteverdi Choir at the coronation of King Charles III. For more information, see the Hampshire Chronicle.
The concert is free with a retiring collection, all proceeds of which will go to the church and be shared with Link to Hope.
